Subject: Harmful Effects of Junk Food on Health and Young People

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw public attention to the harmful effects of junk food on health, especially among young people.

Nowadays, many children and teenagers prefer junk foods such as noodles, chips, burgers, cold drinks, and packaged snacks. These foods contain high amounts of sugar, salt, oil, and harmful chemicals, which can cause serious health problems like obesity, stomach diseases, diabetes, and heart problems. Regular consumption of junk food also weakens the immune system and reduces physical fitness.

Young people are attracted to junk food because it is cheap, tasty, and easily available. Advertisements also influence them greatly. However, they often ignore the long-term dangers of eating such unhealthy food.

Dear Sir/Madam,

"Junk food satisfies the tongue for a moment, but destroys the body for a lifetime."

To reduce its consumption, the government should control the sale of unhealthy packaged foods near schools and spread awareness through health campaigns. Schools should educate students about balanced diets, and parents should encourage homemade healthy meals instead of processed foods.

Therefore, immediate action is necessary to protect young people from the dangerous effects of junk food and promote healthy eating habits.

Yours sincerely,
ABC
