Reading Passage

Its ancient shelves held hand-rolled copper scrolls that could transport a researcher's mind to centuries past. He found himself completely immersed in detailed records of ancient trades, forgotten languages, and early nomadic alliances. These manuscripts had a way of making him feel like he was witnessing the events unfold firsthand.

As the days passed, Rohan spent hours in the vault, delving into one captivating scroll after another. One day, he noticed a heavy metal cylinder titled “The Lost Chronicle of the Sun Kings”. The seal featured an intricate emblem with a shimmering gemstone. Lama Tenzing explained that this was a unique document—it was unfinished because no scribe had ever returned from the final geographic survey. Rohan decided to take on the challenge. He opened the scroll and was instantly drawn into a tale of a young mapper, Tashi, on a perilous quest across treacherous high-altitude rivers and deep mountain fractures.
